The purpose of the event is to debate the main issues and disseminate best practices related to the production and use of biofuels and the interfaces between the various sectors involved: oil, petrochemicals, electric, automobile, food and environment.
The use of biofuels as an alternative energy source comes in a timely manner in view of a global scenario of strong demand for energy and the essential need for preserving the environment.
The choice for Brazil to hold this Seminar is a result of the country’s successful experience in the production and widespread use of sugarcane ethanol.
