This was the 3rd edition of this important Expert Workshop hosted by the Spanish National Committee focusing on the 'Challenges of the European Refining Industry in a Global Market'.
The refining sector is in continuous evolution and the European refining industry is unceasingly facing different and new challenges. Organised by the Spanish National Committee and sponsored by Repsol, this follows the previous editions of this WPC Expert Workshop (held November 2013 and November 2016), this edition will address the fundamental changes that have taken place in the oil sector in the last three years that are redrawing the worldwide refining industry model.
The event focused on the new challenges arising on global markets with a special focus on the European one, not only from the industry point of view but also from a government and regulatory perspective.

This topical webinar focused on the 'Impact of COVID-19 on the Worldwide Refining Industry' and considered the main consequences that the current pandemic is having on the worldwide refining industry.
