Objectives
The Regional Workshop focused on the exchange of best operational and management practices associated to offshore exploration and production, including areas which are linked to the value chain as well as topics associated to operational excellence. Please click here for the programme.
The Regional Association of Oil, Gas and Biofuels sector companies in Latin America and the Caribbean - ARPEL - together with the World Petroleum Council – WPC - invited all to participate at the Round Table on “Best Practices in Offshore Exploration & Production in Times of Crisis” that will take place on October 1st, 2015 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. At Sofitel Hotel, Montevideo, Uruguay.
About one third of oil and a quarter of the consumed natural gas in the world came from deepwater areas and estimations show a continued growth of the production in traditional offshore areas and a significant development in new areas.
In the current global context of low oil prices, international experts will discuss the strategies and methodologies for the exploration and production activities of oil and natural gas offshore economically viable and sustainable over time.
